FAQ
What depth should a gravel driveway be?
New driveways need 10–15 cm after compaction; a top-up on an existing surface is fine at 3–5 cm.
Why 1.6 t/m³ for density?
Compacted gravel averages about 1.6 tonnes per cubic meter; crushed stone runs heavier, pea gravel lighter — adjust to your quarry's spec sheet.
How do I convert to cubic yards?
Divide cubic meters by 0.765 — or just read the volume line, since most suppliers now quote both.
