Why is 7 the most common roll with two dice?

Six combinations produce 7 — more than any other sum — because every die value 1–6 has a partner that reaches 7.

How is at least probability computed?

The tool sums the exact probabilities of every reachable total from your target upward, then divides by 6 to the power of dice count.

Does this work for unfair dice?

No — it assumes fair six-sided dice. Weighted dice need custom probability distributions.
