FAQ
Where do I find an appliance's wattage?
Check the label on the back or underside, the manual, or the power supply brick — it lists watts or volts times amps.
How is the cost computed?
Watts divided by 1000 gives kW; multiply by hours and days for kWh, then multiply by your rate per kWh.
Do appliances use power on standby?
Many draw 1–10 W continuously, which adds up — unplug or switch off power strips for devices you rarely use.
