What units does PV = nRT need?
With R = 0.082057 L·atm/(mol·K), pressure must be in atmospheres, volume in liters, amount in moles, and temperature in kelvin. Mixing in kPa or °C without converting is the most common source of wrong answers.
When does the ideal gas law break down?
It assumes point particles with no interactions, so accuracy drops at very high pressure (above roughly 10 atm) or near the gas's condensation point. Real-gas corrections like van der Waals exist for those cases.
What is molar volume at STP?
